There’s a rubber seal around the base of the fuel filler cap. Because of time and fuel, they eventually perish, split and fall off.
The first you may notice is the smell of fuel as you drive, or you may be informed that you failed the MOT.
Go and check yours right now. This fits the 450, 451 and Roadster. You get 1 replacement rubber seal. The fuel cap obviously isn’t included.
