The 450 fortwo external door cables are prone to snapping due to corrosion.

The issue starts when you try and buy a replacement cable to fit your handle.
That’s when smart tell you that they don’t sell the cable separately and you have to buy a new handle with the cable already attached.

People resorted to making their own cables from higher quality components but we are aware that most people just aren’t inclined to make their own.

So now, we are offering replacement cables separately.
