450 Fortwo / 452 Roadster
The 450 fortwo and 452 Roadster pancake-style horn is actually meant for a scooter. No jokes, it really is a scooter horn. The high pitched buzz is bad enough on a scooter but on a car it’s unacceptable and embarrassing.
It’s not even good enough to be used as a base to work from so the best option is to bin it and replace it with something better.
In this instance we are replacing it with a pair of proper snail-type horns which are the more common fitment in 99% of the cars on the road.
This kit comprises of a high frequency horn, a low frequency horn and a small wiring loom extension.
The high and low frequencies work together to create a much louder full range horn sound which will get you noticed.

451 Fortwo
The 451 comes with a reasonable snail type horn but it’s a single high frequency horn that’s a bit embarrassing.
The 451 kit comes with a single low frequency snail horn and associated wiring.
The high and low frequencies work together to create a much louder full range horn sound which will get you noticed.

Excellent addition to my little smart car. Easy to fit, just don’t drop everything as much as I did as you take an age to find them again! If you use evilution for the fitting guide you should have this done in no time at all as even I could do it. Now it sounds like a car is coming rather than a little scooter!!
