What seems like an eternity ago when I first got my smart, people said that dump valves were bad for the smart.
It was one of those stories that had been passed down but reasoning had been lost. People just believed it and didn’t ask questions.

After looking into it, I worked out why they thought it was the case and yeah, they were correct. However, it was a problem that could be fixed.

I contacted Forge Motorsport and explained the issue that needed fixing. I didn’t think for a second that a big engineering company would listen to me but they ran the idea through their big brain department and agreed to create a specially designed dump valve especially for the smart. The dump valve kit comes with the dump valve, the upper intercooler pipe in blue and all clips and hoses required to fit everything.
